IoT HDMI Mux
The IoT HDMI Mux integrates an ESP32-C3, a 2.4GHz antenna and a 2:1 HDMI mux IC in order to create a connected HDMI mux.
Layout
High speed interfaces like HDMI require careful routing, including length matching and controlled impedance.
Tests
Initial bring-up confirms that the ESP32-C3, USB interface, and antenna work as expected. The HDMI mux reliably switches between sources with a stable 4K 60fps output. Stress tests with continuous source switching and extended runtime confirm stable operation without frame drops or artifacts.
Case
A simple 3D-printed case is designed and printed to house the board. This allows the proof of concept to be used as a functional prototype, protecting the PCB while demonstrating the final form factor.
